Chennai vs Punjab

Chennai and Punjab clashed for the first time in the second match of the Indian Premier League and a century from Michael Hussey ensured that the match was a no-contest. However, since then Punjab have hit a formidable run of form, and are on a five-match winning streak, while Chennai took a beating after their foreign players left. Chennai, though, have been expermineting with their batting order which has seen the emergence of players like Albie Morkel come to fore. Chennai will be looking to continue the much gathered momentum and also put an end to Punjab's 5-match winning streak.
Said the Kings IX captain on Friday (May 9) while coach Tom Moody said the team "have got a good combination of attacking bowlers, attacking batsmen and batsmen who can adjust to certain roles.
After three consecutive losses Dhoni's men have got back to winning ways and once again their key players will need to fire. Suresh Raina has been in good nick and his form will be good for the middle order. Albile Morkle's all-round contribution has made the difference in the side.
